Chiropractors often talk about “the big idea” in chiropractic. On this podcast Zail Khalsa of Conscious Chiropractic fame, talks about the four big ideas that he believes are at the heart of chiropractic. Your mind will be stretched by this think-deeper episode and will challenge what you think about chiropractic health healing and the body.
Dr. Khalsa is a fascinating person with an amazing personal story about his own health. Formerly he was a flying-trapeze circus performer and molecular geneticist. An allergic reaction to penicillin at birth caused serious health challenges, followed by a diagnosis of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at age 12. That experience led him to a degree in biology and the beginnings of his molecular geneticist career.
The pain that continued to plague him, though, led him to experience Kundalini yoga, which was his stepping stone to chiropractic. When I got his first chiropractic adjustment, it felt as if the chiropractor had pulled a knife out of his back that had been stabbing him for years!
Over time, he regained my health using all-natural means and experienced a spiritual calling to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. He completed his doctoral studies at Western States Chiropractic College and moved to Del Mar, California to surf and start a private practice. In 1998, he moved his practice to its current location in Beverly Hills.
In this episode you will hear about:
• Metaphysical concepts in of chiropractic
• Zail’s 4 bif ideas
• The must-read traveling library about chiropractic
• And MUCH, MUCH more!
