Cynthia Shaft Toll: Women Chiropractors [PODCAST]
Dr. Cynthia Shaft is a 1981 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. She is the daughter of Dr. Ray Elwart DC, another graduate of Palmer, who left a legacy of 22 chiropractors in his family line. Their family has been entered into the Palmer Chiropractic Historical Library for their contribution to the chiropractic profession. She’s a member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors, ICA, and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
When not caring directly for patients, Dr. Shaft devotes her spare time to coaching and mentoring other chiropractors in effective adjusting and patient management skills. She has been a guest speaker at the Michigan Association of Chiropractors convention, Woman Chiropractors Group, and also speaks at local events on wellness options for the entire family. Dr. Cynthia has taken extensive postgraduate training in pregnancy and pediatric care and is certified in the Webster Technique.
Dr. Cynthia is the mother of 7 and “Nonni” of 8. Her oldest son, Dr. Jeremiah Shaft, followed her footsteps into the chiropractic profession and is a third-generation chiropractor in their family. She is married to William Toll and has been in practice in the Plymouth-Canton area since the 1980s. Her passion is to see people regain their health through chiropractic care and to help women chiropractors succeed. Cynthia’s website is www.womenchiropractors.org.
