"It is time for us to invigorate our own identity to find who we are as individuals." - Chadwick Hawk

This is a vision expanding episode of the Mile High podcast hosted by Joel Kinch interviewing fellow Castle rock resident Chadwick Hawk. Second-generation chiropractor Chadwick Hawk is a prime example of someone focused on expanding the impact of chiropractic and doing what he can to leave it better than he found it.

You can see Dr. Hawk's bio here. Having practiced in Virginia for 18 years Chad now practices in Guatemala, Uganda, Ghana as well as Colorado. Through epic missions he has been helping indigenous people through chiropractic. Being a person who listens to the callings he received he also recently stepped up applied and was appointed by the governor of Colorado to serve the people of the state on the chiropractic board of examiners.

Exactly the kind of leaders we like to showcase on the Mile High podcast as well as on stage. People that are contributing through their actions back to chiropractic.

Discover why he says we have a profession that has become hollow and how we can move towards being more solid. Look forward to seeing Chadwick Hawk and you at Mile High if you have not registered yet for the Mile High Chiropractic Movement weekend the time is now. See you there!

"Do what is right, not expedient, and wash your mind of all compromise."
- Patrick Smith

Mile High podcasts are about empowering, educating and growing the vitalistic chiropractic practitioners. This is our first of many podcasts to include not just Mile High speakers but members of the growing Mile High community. Patrick Smith is one of my favorite chiropractors in Colorado!Mile High registration is rising grab your tickets here.

His passion and vision for chiropractic and people achieving their health potential is inspiring. Two years back we had one of our interns from Sherman college visit his office for the day and she found it truly refreshing.

After practicing for a decade in an injury and insurance-based model and being dissatisfied with the disconnection between the care he was providing and the wellness care he sought and received for himself and his family he shifted his practice 180°. As Patrick Smith says "Your problems do not start or end when your symptoms do."

Service is an important principle for chiropractors and for Patrick Smith it's at the center of his values. Enjoy this podcast with one of us who practices every day as we discuss subluxation, insurance and the medicalization of chiropractic.

Question of the day: "What have you done to simplify your practice?" Please let me know in the comments.
